My new ride

I finally got rid of the hire car and bought a car of my own. It's a red Ford Focus, the perfect size car for the small roads in England. Finding an automatic transmission is like finding a needle in a hay stack since most cars in the UK are manual transmission. I'm still taking my driving lessons. I'm feeling more comfortable with driving especially in a smaller car!

My New Car





Today,  was a beautiful day. We visited a local church this morning. While it is different than what we are used to, God is still the same.  Bruce has been watching the Shell Houston Open on TV at night and he has really missed playing golf (we notice the weather is nice in Humble). So, we decided to go golfing today and enjoy the weather. We all three played a 9 hole par 3 course. It was fun. Avery and I actually made some good shots too! The golf course is inside a horse racetrack just around the corner from the house. It's called Sandown Park. There are lots of golf courses around here so Bruce will have lots to choose from.
