Becoming a Family of Four!

After 1.5 years of paperwork, prayers, and waiting.. God has decided to match us with our new son from China right as we prepare to move to a new country, start a new job, start a new school,...(who says God doesn't have a sense of humor)!! We got the phone call from our agency within 15 minutes of taking Bruce to the airport to start his new job in the UK. I had to laugh to keep from crying! But, God's timing is perfect! He is so cute.. His name is Chen Fu Qi and he is 16 months old.  We do not have an American name picked out for him just yet.  We are working on that!  Now that we have accepted him, it will take 4-6 months before we travel to get him. (More paperwork). This is the hard part because now that we know who the little guy is, we want to go get him NOW! We can not wait to meet him and can't wait for our friends and family to meet him too.
Avery is very excited about her little brother! I know she will be an awesome big sister! She will be a big helper and will love teaching him EVERYTHING!
This has changed our plans for furnishing the new house in England. We hadn't done any shopping for baby beds! Oh well, at least we were thinking ahead while house shopping to make sure we had enough room for the addition to the family.
He will be the little world traveller.....China, US, and to the UK! (I guess we will too)!
Most of you will know what the European phrase "mind the gap" means. Well we need you to mind the gap for us with your prayers as our life takes yet another exciting twist!
