BACK IN THE USA!

It was an exhasuting, yet very rewrding two weeks in China. We drove from China to Hong Kong on Tuesday evening then departed on Wednesday morning for the US. It would have been nice to see more of Hong Kong, but it was dark and rainy when we arrived. There was a typhoon that had come through the day before! Trees were down and debris was everywhere. We got a little worried during the night becasue it was pooring rain which made us think our flight could be delayed. Thankfully by the next morning the weather had cleared and we departed as scheduled. As you can see from this picture, Zachary (and Dad) were pretty sleepy!
Waiting to board plane for Houston
The flight from Hong Kong to Detroit was 15 hours. Zachary did really well considering the long flight. We had a 6 hour lay over in Detroit.  Zachary officially became a US citizen once we touched ground in the US. After the lay over we flew to Houston where we had family and friends to welcome us home!
We are so excited to be back home for a little while we complete paperwork etc. Looking forward to some Chick-fil-A and convenient shopping (although the heat was not missed) and of course seeing family and friends. Thanks for all of the prayers as we now have our little guy with us.
