Avery's a cougar!

Hey...what are ya'll thinking??  That's her school mascot!  A cougar!  She is having a really good time at school so far. She's already been invited to a birthday party.( Feels like home!) I signed her up for a spring club this week called Stagecoach. It involves music, dance, and drama.  I think it will be right up her alley. They will meet every Wednesday after school for a couple of hours. She's already looking forward to Spring break which will be at the beginning of April. She will be out two weeks. Not sure what we are going to do yet but we are working on a trip somewhere into mainland Europe.
It's funny..Avery sometimes talks with an English accent especially after I pick her up from school.
I guess hearing it at school all day, she just picks it up! 
Avery was out of school on Thursday and Friday (parent/teacher conferences).  Avery and I walked down to High street yesterday and window shopped. We went into one Boutique and the shoes were f300. Alexander McQueen was the designer (same lady who made Princess Kate's dress). Needless to say, I won't be shopping there!
We have a new pet...a red fox. Avery has named it Roxy!  It walks up on the back porch, goes up the steps and lays in the sun. We've seen it in the back garden 3 times now. It seems to be as scared of us as we are of her. You don't see a red fox running around everyday in Houston, but we see them often here. In fact we saw one tonight while walking back from dinner in town.
I attended the American Women's Club general meeting on Tuesday. I received a lot of good information and tips..where to find.a babysitter, online grocery/delivery, local American Butcher, dry cleaner, and where to get hair and nails done!  I will also be taking driving lessons starting on Monday. They say it's almost impossible to pass the driving test without taking lessons. I just want to go ahead and get it out of the way and be done with it.
Over the weekend, we are planning to go to Hampton Court Palace. It's one of the royal palaces.
It has a maze that is the oldest and largest hedge maze in the UK.  Will let you know about it if we make it out!
